Front of House
Position Overview
Front of House Team Members help create an amazing guest experience while also baking off fresh cookies throughout the day. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in doing things right.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take orders accurately using our POS system
- Serve cookies, ice cream, drinks, and weekly specials
- Package orders neatly for takeout, catering, and gifting
- Bake off cookies in-store following timers and quality standards
- Finish and stock cookies to keep displays full and beautiful
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, dining areas, and service stations
- Restock front-of-house supplies throughout each shift
Requirements
- Available a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to stand for 6 hours at a time
- Starting at $16/hour + tips
Baking Assistant
Position Overview
Baking Assistants work alongside our head baker to create the delicious cookies that make Half Baked Cookies special. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with dough prep, portioning, and topping
- Support daily baking and production needs as assigned
- Label, organize, and store ingredients properly
- Help package products for storefronts and orders
- Maintain clean prep stations and kitchen areas
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen resets as needed
- Follow all recipe, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Available mornings and daytime
- Available minimum 18 hours a week
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina for standing for 8 hours at a time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Starting at $16/hour + tips
Dishwasher
Position Overview
Dishwashers are essential to keeping our shop running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who values cleanliness and wants to be part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Take out trash, break down boxes, maintain back-of-house order
- Maintain organization of clean items
- Keep the dish area clean and organized
- Follow health and safety standards
