Half Baked Cookies started the way all the best recipes do – from scratch. Back in 2021, before our first shop opened on Day Road in Lockport, every single cookie came fresh out of our founder Angie’s home oven.
As we’ve grown, we’ve created a space where everyone feels welcome, sourcing ingredients from our local community, and putting as much care into our take-home treats as we do into the ones you eat right here.
When we say “made with love,” we’re talking about the whole dang batch.
Our mission hasn’t changed a crumb since day one: bake the freshest, highest quality, and most importantly, the most downright delicious cookies ever.

Hi, I’m Angie, the founder of Half Baked Cookies.
This whole thing started simply because I love cookies. Back when I was in school, I was baking them all the time and thought, “why not share these with people?” I started selling out of a little café in Lockport, and before long, I opened my first shop. At the time, I had two kids at home and knew the corporate world just wasn’t for me—so I poured my energy into building something I truly cared about.
Of course, it’s about cookies—but it’s also about so much more. I’m passionate about making Half Baked a fun, positive place to work, because when my team enjoys what they do, they pass that warmth right on to our customers. I want every visit here to feel welcoming, easy, and a little special.

I’m proud of how far we’ve come and excited for where we’re headed. At the heart of it, my goal is simple: whether you’re working here or enjoying a cookie, I want you to leave feeling cared for and connected.
And for the record—I can never walk past the rack without grabbing one of these: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Banana Pudding, Mocha Truffle, S’more, Sunny, Tonight Dough, or Brownie Stuffed.
Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing our cookies! We totally get it — once you hit that Order Now button, you want your cookies ASAP. We feel you. 🍪
Our goal is to make sure every batch arrives fresh, gooey, and just as delicious as when it left our oven. Here’s how we make that happen:
Shipping Schedule
Freshness is everything — that’s why we only ship Monday through Wednesday.
We do this to keep your cookies from getting stuck in a delivery room over the weekend (no one likes sad, stale cookies!).
Orders placed after 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday will ship the following Monday, excluding holidays.
Once your order ships, you’ll get a confirmation email with tracking info so you can start your cookie countdown.
Delivery Responsibility
Once your cookies are in the hands of our shipping provider, delivery timing and handling are out of our control.
We don’t have superpowers (yet), so things like weather, carrier delays, or unexpected detours are in their hands.
If a package is marked “Delivered” but you can’t find it, it’s best to reach out directly to the shipping provider to file a claim.
Address Accuracy
Before you check out, make sure your shipping address is 100% correct — apartment numbers, zip codes, everything.
If an address error causes your package to go missing or be returned, we unfortunately can’t replace or refund it.
Perishable Product Handling
Our cookies are baked fresh to order and handled with love.
We carefully package them to keep that just-baked quality, but once they’re shipped, we can’t control what happens in transit.
If a carrier delay or rough ride affects your cookies, we’re just as bummed as you — but we can’t take responsibility for their condition upon arrival.
If we make a mistake on our end (like an incorrect item or shipping error), we’ll make it right immediately. Promise.
Returns & Order Changes
Because our cookies are perishable, all sales are final.
Need to change your shipping address or update your order? Just let us know before it ships — once it’s out the door, it’s on its way to cookie destiny.
